Ok, I've finally decided to set out to find a solution to this problem:

When I make a typo in my address box, or when Internet Explorer (6.0) can't find the page, it comes up the the smaller window with "the page cannot be displayed" message. Well, the problem is, it goes on a rampage and keeps launching window after window after window, saying "the page cannot be displayed". Eventually it quits, but only after it opens like 30 windows. I've had this problem with 6.0 and Win2k since I got it. I've scanned for trojans and viruses and I don't have any. Does anybody else have this problem? Can somebody tell me what's going on and/or how I can fix it? I would appreciate it very much.

I have a problem with IE6 too, it keeps sending error reports on occasions and restarting the browser.

Yeah, I ran adaware and deleted all the "ez search bar" junk and it seems to have fixed it. Thanks for posting.
