Palm VX issue

I received an answer on how to Hard reset my palmVx and was able to do so. However the following is my problem: The screen positioning on my Palm Vx has gotten so far off, due to accidental operator error, that I can not get to the little house in the lower left corner to pull up the screen that lets you re-adjust it by tapping the stylus on the central and corner locations.
When I hard reset I can tap the screen as prompted and all seems to realign. But when I upload the all the data from the computer, the screen becomes unalligned again and I can't get back to the allignment screen.
How can I bring that screen up again? Thanks, Paul King.
