can't do anything ...Hard disk lock!

Hello,
my netbook won't allow me to access any files or anything ...the first thing it does is ask for a password...it goes into hard disk lock ...hardisk securuty...asking for master password with key....how do i get past this ?

Did you set security ? If not I'd talk to the manufacturer or retailer -- be prepared to produce proof of ownership.
