2 Sony LCDs, dvi and vga connection quality

Hi to all! Ive purchased two Sony lcds, im using a graphic adapter which has a dvi-i and a vga output. Actually im using the dvi connector from the card to the monitor. The second monitor will go on the vga connector. I'd like to know what's better to do from the point of view of the image quality and monitor electronic signal stress: to do vga-vga or do vga-dvi changer-dvi. The first means the graphic card the last the lcd.
