Fist of all, you will probably want a bigger UPS. That 500VA APC only puts out 300watts max. Your computer will likely draw that much or more and when you add a monitor to the eqation that jumps it up even more. Judging by the rest of your purchases you have quit a large budget for this machine. Why skimp on the UPS? Get the APC 1500VA :) I've got one and it is awsome!

As for a monitor if you plan on doing some gaming (note the sarcasm :) you will probably want a CRT. Maybe it is just me but I still can't play games on an LCD. I've tried some very new ones and my eyes start hurting after a while bec of the lag. Even my little 15" screen on my laptop hurts my eyes to play on :(

I currently have a NEC/Mitsubishi FP2141SB 22" Diamondtron on my desktop computer. It is much sharper and brighter than any other CRT I have seen/used. It will definatly support any high res you want in a game :) The price is fairly heafty but it still isn't anywhere near an equally sized LCD.

Alternatively the fp2111sb is more affordable. It's the shipping that kills the deal on these so I'd recommend buying them in a store if you can find one.

I'd use Avast antivirus, it actually does work better than norton and it is free.
