Can anyone help me?....

I have a couple of dvd players which play 'multi region' DVDs (e.g. Region 1 - US, and Region 2 - UK).

They play Region 2 (UK) DVDs on all of the other (much less expensive!) NTSC TVs I have in my home (e.g. Magnavox 15" LCD).

However, they will not play on my new (expensive!) Philips HDMI TV - using a/v or component video cables.

Does anyone know if I will be able to play them (Region 2 - UK) using an HDMI cable and one of the two HDMI connectors on the new tv?
