I want to find the right sound card to input 5.1 sound from my xbox (from rca plugs) and then output the 5.1 sound to speakers (via 3.5" jacks).

I have ADA995 Altec Lansing speakers, which can only receive input from its three 3.5" jack plugs (for center, front, rear).

I want a sound card that will not lose much of the 5.1 quality sound produced by the xbox. However, I don't want to buy unnecessary features. I just want a soundcard that will input/output 5.1 well and do little more.

What should I buy?
