my windows Xp prof. ser.pack2, will not play streaming video from internet. I
started with media player 9 and then updated to player 10 with no change. Is
this being blocked by windows firewall or what?

What is your Net connection type and speed?
What, exactly, occurs when you attempt to play a stream? Error messages?
List a URL that does not work for you.

1)My connection is Att.dial-up at 40K usually.
2)What occurs is windows media player appears and clunka a couple times and
then just sits there.
3) This happens at all sites, such as Yahoo or any news site that uses
windows media player. Please advise, J.J.
