I have a A7V266 motherboard. My PC started acting up on Sat. It will shut down itself. When I restart the computer, it will give me long beeps (Beeps..., Beeps...., Beeps...) and it doesn't end. When I restart it again, it will go to the BIOS, and after I reset the CPU setting, it will restart just fine. I already replace the power supply, and it is still doing the same thing. Does it sound like a motherboard problem or a memory problem?

Long beeps usually means that the mobo can't use the memory (not there, malfunctioning or not seated right). First try to reseat the RAM.

POST is way overrated, the black screen and beeps should be enough for most people.
