MSI / VIA K8T800 K8T NEO-FSR (MS-6702 ATX)
AMD 64 3200+ ATHLON 64 Retail Box
Power Color RADEON 9700 PRO 128MB
80GB SEAGATE ST380013AS S-ATA
2 x 512MB Kingston PC 2700 RAM
400 Watt Power Supply
Plenty of cooling fans
Heres the problem:
Upon first load of OS, everything seemed to load correctly. Ran Aquamark 3. It crashed out with an Access error. Re ran AQMark 3 and it asked me to reset my audio and video setting to default. I did that and the test went thru with a bench mark of 38,379. Rebooted, installed Everquest. After loggin onto the server and geting to the Charecter select screen it blue screened, no errors and PC auto rebooted. When it came back on I went to the advanced setting for system recovery and uncheck the auto reboot option. Ran Everquest again got into game and 5 minutes later system lockup. No blue screen this time and no error code. Rebooted one more time. Ran EQ and same thing about 5 minutes later poof. Blue screen this time with the memory dump text and an error about replace your VGA Adapter. Reinstalled OS a few more time with the same results. I Updated all chipset drivers, flashed Main Board using their online flash tool, had all the latest drivers for audio/video/lan etc. Tried one last time with system lock up in game again. Are there any known good driver sets or compatabilty problems with any of my components. I couldn't find any. Thanks in advance.

Just for kicks.. if it's a memory error that's 7 dings withing the last couple of weeks where kingston has shat itself for me.
That's enough for me to stop recommending kingston.

45.5k mark? 85 dollars went a long way. So did that extra 15 dollars for cooling my video card.

Well here goes the Memory FAILED!!! Memtest 16k errors in just under 9 hours but heres the kicker they only showed up in about 25 minute intervals. I put the memory into a prefab DELL tower...same test...no errors after 5 hours. So not bad memory just not good for that Mobo/chip combo. I bought Mushkin lvl 2 RAM put it in and bang ZERO errors no more problems No errors from Memtest. Cas latency of 2-2-2 6 2.7 volts MOst definately a great bang for the buck.
