need a dev/gamer monitor: Apple LCDs the best in market?

dell make some great widescreens. i've recently bought the 2405fpw. i haven't tried it out with games yet as i'm in the middle of building a new system to get the best from it, however, its hooked up to my old comp and is great for other stuff i.e general surfing and my dad thinks it's great for autocad. dont know the apps you're going to be using but its big enough to have 2 full size web pages displayed side by side
