Hello, i got a big problem. The hard drive cabby on my Hyundai hn5000 laptop is missing so i cant plug hard drive into motherboard. So if anyone got a cabby... Well heres a question. Motherboard has standard 44pin ide-connector for cd-rom. Is it possible to connect both hard drive and cd-rom to that and set master/slave. Just like desktop computers?

Yes. Although on desktop PCs, the connector is has a 2.54mm pitch and is only 40 pin. On laptops it's a 2mm pitch and 44 pins. The 4 extra pins are for +5V supply.
2.5" drives uses only +5V supply, 3.5" drives uses both 5V and 12V supplies.

Thanks for reply, i have inspected the 2,5" drive. There is no master/slave setting. Would it still be possible to hook up both cd-rom and hdd to one connector? One more: if this is possible: would anyone know where to get cable?

There should be some extra pins (besides the 44 for the connector) where you place a jumper. If not, this drive is probably fixed as master. This is not a problem if you can make your CD drive slave.
