Just using it for an all around computer, some gaming but I'm not real cutting edge (diablo, aoe,)

This is my first laptop so kinda nervous (i dont want to go over $1000 on this thing)

Thanks!

I personally would go for the T8100 processor, is more powerful and energy efficient, but if you don't use processor-intensive applications, maybe you won't notice it much. I usually prefer to get a better processor and save in RAM or hard drive, because they are easily upgraded, while CPU and GPU are difficult or impossible to upgrade.

Well the bad thing was that the next upgrade would have been:

tel® Core™ 2 Duo T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB/3MB cache) [add $225]

So it seemed to be quite the jump in $$$ for probably the same amount that i spent to add the ram and hard drive and video card.

Hopefully it wont matter as it is already bought! :)

Yes, it's an expensive upgrade! Don't worry, T7250 is a good processor.
