Here's the deal, I REALLY like this laptop ( ZT S1016i-15 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6834210014 ) and I personally think that it's a steal at that price point but here is where the problem arrises:

1. This laptop is a neweggg exclusive (it's not even listed on the companies website) and to build on through ZT is imposible (max of 2 Gigs VS 4 gigs) and costs a few hundred more.

Could someone tell me if it would be a good choice to get it?



Now other than the fact that it's newegg exclusive I also live in Canada so Newegg won't give it to me. Is there a simple way around that? (preferably without having to go to US or a US resident having to bring it to me)

Also is 1280 X 800 a good enough resolution for gaming?

I've been thinking about getting it to, i lack your problem though, i live in Florida, to answer you question, 1280x800 is decent, it wont look spectacular but it is better than 640x480, what i currently have to run games. if you live near the U.S. Canada border, the only thing to do is locate the nearest ups or FedEx, in the U.S., to your area and have a brief vacation.

i found this close to Winnipeg if that if where you live, i have friends that do bogus accounts, gotta be sure.
