X51v Windows media player mobile bluetooth

I know my x51v is getting long in the tooth, but I'd like to connect it's media player to my bluetooth headphones to play music. Headphones are Sony DR-BT101. I can pair the phones with the dell via bluetooth, but Windows media player doesn't play to them. Dell has Win Mobile 5.1.70 build 14410.1.0.1.
Is this even possible for this old device? Are there updates that can be loaded to make it work?

So, the answers to the above questions are:
Is it possible to link the Dell x51v to the Sony Dr-Bt10 bluetooth headset? Yes it is.
Are there updates that can be loaded to make it work? Yes. I upgraded the OS to WM 6.1. I used makuu's A06 privß06p "Pure" available at this link, "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376700". After the upgrade and reinstalling all the drivers and other software, I am now able to listen to music wirelessly via bluetooth with the Sony headphones.
