Been looking around and I saw this computer on newegg for 1k + shipping, but here it's cheaper.

I figure this is the best I can get in a 15.4 inch laptop for gaming and college general use. I'm also looking to dual boot ubuntu for everything besides games. Price being under 1k is a big concern. The bag and nice warranty are also terrific. Would anyone recommend against this site or this computer?

I think Asus has dropped the ball on build quality the last two - two and a half years. I was really impressed with their W3V (can't remember the barebook model #), but since then. . . down down down down. But, if you want that nVidia 9500. . .

Other merchants having it cheaper:

http://www.directron.com/m51sna1.html 15.4

theNerds.net had 'em but out of stock. . .
