Does the ghosting appear only when playing games or you can also see the ghosting when watching movie or other application if the monitor has a high ms for example 25ms?

Slow is slow no matter what the specs or what you are viewing. I've got an fast rated monitor but it is still too slow so I notice the smearing a lot. It is less noticable watching Tv/video because it is contrast dependant. It takes the most time for a full color change between black and white. Mixed colors and shades of grey change faster. Anyhow games like FEAR have a lot more contrast than typical video so the smearing is much more noticable and annoying during game play. That said a high contrast TV show like a cartoon will do the same thing. It is a contrast thing, not a game vs video thing.
