Hello,
The HP laptop I have was designed for Win XP and someone upgraded it to Win 7 Ultimate before I obtained it. Everything ran fine until recently it started blue screening. The message says "a clock interupt was not received on a second processor".

It appears updating the BIOS would work but HP does not offer a BIOS upgrade for Win 7, only for Vista and before. It appears you can use some drivers from XP though I am not sure BIOS would be one of those drivers. Any ideas on how to fix my issue?

I don't know if this is enough information, but I've been at it for several days now and am pulling my hair out...what little is left.

It seems to happen when the computer has been on for a period of time, roughly an hour or so. Seemed like it could have been a temperature problem
