My parents are looking for a laptop to plug into our HDTV so they can watch internet content on it. The laptop does not have to be HDMI or HDTV compatible and only needs to be hooked up through VGA. They are looking for the cheapest option available (they also will not get a home theater PC despite what I tell them). This laptop will need a decent GPU I'm guessing, but can skimp on everything else including storage space. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Dell Vostro are pretty cheap. Yeah, that's about it. . .

HP C700T, Gateway M series. . .Basically anything with an i830 chipset or later (as far as Intel goes)
