I am wondering about what different types of laptops I should consider. I have already looked at the Dell XPS's, the alienware mx17, and the falcon-nw DRX's.

I am an engineering student. I will use this machine for some pretty heavy CAD programs as well as some medium to hard gaming. I know a desktop would be better suited for this type of use, but I need the mobility. Price is only an issue as for the idea that I don't want to buy something just for the name, or eye candy. Mainly concerned for the best power in a notebook.

Any thoughts? :bounce:

SAGER NP9262 and DELL XPS M1730, forget the ALIENWARE M17x because its has the same specs of M1730 and if u choose the X9000 CPU u can't OC it(but u can OC a X9000 on M1730) And M17x is very expensive isn't worth the money.

So i say go for either M1730 or SAGER NP9262
