Monitor Gone!

left my computer on all last nite, (i have dual monitors), turned it off this morning. I remeber seeing that both monitors were working. Came to turn it on bout an hour ago...and blam 1 of my monitors doesnt show anything.
i heard nothing / no smoke ...any suggestions?

what kind of video card do you use? maybe your software turned the secondary monitor off?

i use a nvidia 5600 xfx. ive jut noticed that the moniotr cable has 2 pins missing...and there are holes where they sould have been. could the pins have fallen out? is there any way to replace them? im pretty sure that that is the problem

Could be a fuse in the plug has blown. My monitor cable has two pins missing, althought there arnt pins holes in that gaps.

i dont think the fuse has gone, as the power LED will light when the monitor has been turned on. dont suppose paper clips broke and jammed it will conduct the singnal will it? lol
