My T3 has developed digitizing problems. The lower function bar barely
works, and only if I tap below an icon. In addition, tapping anywhere on
the screen usually has to be done a couple of times before it's responsive.
Redigitizing doesn't have any impact, nor does AutoDigi5 or Digifix. Anyone
have any suggestions?

Sorry if this issue has been covered in the past!

It sounds like you have tried all the usual fixes for intermittent digitizer
problems. Let me ask you this... is it mainly in the lower part of the
screen that the problem is noticeable? i.e. you have problems with the task
bar at the bottom, but menus at the top work fine? If so, this is a known
problem with the T3 and, unfortunately, you'll have to send it in.for repair
:-(

Yup - it's mostly the task bar and lower screen. I wonder if the repair
will be more costly than replacing the unit! How annoying! Many thanks!

I had the same problem with the lower icons, when the T3 was extended.
Phoned support and within a few minutes they offered repair. Being dependent
on the Palm and without a backup, I asked for the advance replacement at a
cost of $45 (or a bit less). The replacement came within two days, with an
orangish screen color tint and a non-responsive portion on pad. (I since
learned there are two types of screen tints, red or blue. I like the blue.)
I phoned them within three days of verifying the problems, and they offered
free advance replacement due to the scrolling up not working. Three days
later a perfect replacement was received. All this happened within the one
year warranty period. (I guess all T3 are still within this)

So there is hope. I was very satisfied.

I wish you luck.
