I am using Motorola SM56 SpeakerPhone Modem in Windows98.
I want to use it in Win2K but I could not find its drivers for win2K. Can anyone provide me some link from where I can download the drivers?

Can anyone tell me where I can download the driver for my old PCI modem which is based on Rockwell MDP3858SP-UE chip? The driver will be installed under Win2000. Thank you.

I found three pages on the Net with drivers for that modem, but if you can't find the Win2K driver within one of the pages on the first link, it probably doesn't exist. The last two links are for Win9x and NT 4 drivers.

<A HREF="http://www3.driverguide.com/betav2.php?action=dosearch&qm0=Rockwell+MDP3858SP-UE&qa5=-1&dp=3&fs=0" target="_new">DriverGuide</A>

If for some odd reason you are asked for a user name and password at the first site, the user name is "drivers", and the password is "all" (no quotes). It's not a paysite, just some silly requirement to access the search engine.

<A HREF="http://www.modem-drivers.com/companies/902.htm" target="_new">Rockwell MDP3858SP-UE</A>

<A HREF="http://binaries.faq.net.pl/drivers/modem/Aztech/MDP3858SP-UE, MDP3858V-UE, MDP3858UE/Win NT 4.0/" target="_new">binaries.faq.net.pl - /drivers/modem/Aztech/MDP3858SP-UE, MDP3858V-UE, MDP3858UE/Win NT 4.0/</A>

If you can't find the driver, and Win2K doesn't detect the modem and install a driver automatically, you may be forced to get a new modem.
