I have a Compaq Presario 2199US. The hard-drive crashed and after several weeks of trying, I recovered the files I needed. Thinking that the rest of the comuter should be in good order, I purchased a replacement hard-drive, a WD 160GB(4xoriginalsize). After installing the new hard-drive and loading all of the software I believed I had accomplished the impossible. But the damn thing is doing it again, you push the start button and it Begins to start but after a few seconds it stops and restarts and this continues FOREVER!

What has gone wrong here?
