Is widescreen support larger now, in games?

the widescreen prices are going down, is the software support there yet?

you gotta giove people time man. it depends on what games you play. i play valves source based games which natively support widescreen formats, both 16:9 and 16:10. most developers are still stuck in the dark ages where widescreen and other niche markets didn't exist. that may be an exaggeration but has some truth.

one thing though once you gone widescreen you can't go back to a small 4:3 format one. nor can you revert to a crt unfortunately. its just to painful
