System Restore

Not sure where to post this. So, getting to it, Im a complete newb and felt I needed to use system restore to get my old working GPU drivers back. I went though the windows 7 system restore, when that didn't work I tried my Trend Micro restore, and then the windows again, all without realizing that I didn't have to or that I could undo unsuccesful restores. Now my computer is rather slow gaming to the point where I havent bothered. I's this a result of system restore affecting my registry or something like that? If so how would I fix this. Any ideas/help is appreciated.

Cyberpower i5 3570k, Biostar H61MHB, 2 x Adata 4Gb DDR3 1333, Radeon HD 7750, Seagte Baracuda 7200 Sata II, Windows 7 Home Premium.
