We'll I have 3 systems at home +1 laptop, but I live in the San Francisco area and were having the power problem so there not running at full capacity.
I still have some systems running at the last company I worked at but I'm not sure how many. There are at least a couple still going there, one or two of them throwing my average way off.
Are you also in the Bay Area Silicon Surfer?

Hey me too, Calgary here.
And I was just in San Francisco in December for a couple days, it was great.
Thankfully all utilities are included with my rent, so I can leave my 2 home machines running full time. The rest are at work, and run constantly regardless. I'm not sure how many I'm running, somewhere around 6 at work.

i am leaving my 600eb oc'd 675 with 150 bus for seti except when playing games, hooked up to tv to watch movies, etc. Reason why my average is so high is because about 30 of my units were down on a P-120 when I first joined. I might add a old P-166 to the score if I can get the piece o crap working. (other than seti it will be a glorified jukebox hooked up to the receiver in family room)

Maybe only 3 - 3.5 WU's a day, but that's over 1000 in a year ;)

Reply to necroscope

We'll if were going into details I have a
P4 1.4 512 MB pumping out about every 4-5 hrs.
pIII 800 512MB 8-10 Hrs usually less
pIII 700 512MB about the same
Laptop usually not running PII 333 128 MB
I've been making up for having lots of old slow systems average has been dropping lots because of the p4. The p4 kicks a**.

if u don't care about price/performance and just want good quake3/seti than why not?

Reply to necroscope

I DID NOT PAY 1 CENT FOR IT!!!!
My company went out of business and I took it home. It kicks A**. That's all I have to say.

I'm not rich enough to dont care about price/performance and event then, i'm not stupid enough to buy something with a better performance ( read 5% more ) and with a bigger price ( read 50% more ) for a device who will be common in 6 month and like a dinausaur within 3 years. The computer is the WORST investment( before car ) and less you pay for it, better you are.

I have a strange `déja vu`... i'm not the first who said that..

only way i'd get p4 is if i was a rich bastage, even then i'd feel guilty about owning rambus

but free? well why not?

Reply to necroscope

All right, thats what I'm saying, and I can't complain about the peformance it's putting out WU about every 4-5 1/2hours.

I am cranking out about 10 units a day now. I think I am third in productivity lately but the stats at necroscopes website need to be fixed on the SETI performance sheet.

No rush Nec, I know you have classes to attend.

thanks for joining the team, with your help we will get to the top 200 clubs before too long :)

i fixed the performance stats, it was just a matter of refreshing the column with the names in it

Reply to necroscope

Hey Chris, great to have you. We need all the help we can get, and with 1500+ wu's completed it helps the total by quite abit.
Poor Jeff, he's never going to make top 5.

Reply to Anonymous

According to my SETI performance sheet Chrisc is making 252.5 units a day. That is why I just added a new column on the performance sheet that tests whether the data is valid or not. This is so there is no confusion!

**It is invalid because it is subtracting his # of WU's from a blank field (date he was not on the team**

Chris C where did you go? I saw you joined Tom's Team and then I saw you dropped out. We could really use your 1,500+ units.
