I recently built a new computer, and around some time recently it started to have some serious problems at bootup. It would show the Blue screens:

irql_not_or_less_equal,
page_fault_in_nonpaged_area.

The thing is after rebooting about 7 times it would start up and work fine for the rest of the day...

My specs are:
Core i7 920 at 2.66ghz
6gb OCZ platinum DDR3 1600 at 7-7-7-24 and 1.65v
ASUS P6T SE LGA1366 motherboard
Sapphire Vapor-x 4890

This problem might have started happening after I installed my motherboard drivers, I'm not sure. Is there a guareenteed solution to this problem? If I have to RMA I will do so.

Please help!

Usually indicates a problem with how your RAM is set up. The first step would be to go into the Bios and manually configure it to the maker's specs.

------------------------------ Which Chip? Well, it depends on which set of thieving b@stardz you choose to support: The ones who use insider trading to enrich themselves while running their company into the ground, or the ones who illegally pay vendors to not support the first group.

where would I find the maker's specs?

The only thing I configured when I first built my computer was changing the ram voltage from 1.8 to 1.65, because that was my motherboard's limit. If it was over 1.65, I supposedly risked permanent damage to the cpu and motherboard.

I didn't have a problem then, It only started recently.

I have exactly the same configuration you have except I'm using an Nvidia card. So I'm also using the OCZ platinum 1600 6GB kit.

Windows reboots after a few minutes of use with error codes 0x000000>4A, 0E, 3B and 0A.
After one reboot the computer will run fine for the rest of the day.

Things I've done so far:

- Re-installing Windows 7
- Memtest, no errors found.
- Tried all three ram sticks seperately for a day long> BSOD gone.
- Tried two modules for a day> BSOD gone.
- Today I plugged all three modules back in and it gave me a BSOD again.

Only thing I'm going to try tomorrow is putting one module in the third ram slot and see if the problem is that slot.
