Hi everybody,
here is the problem:
suddenly my DVD/CDROM player and my CD-R/RW do not work anymore.
I have them in the system manager but they are yellowed and show thr following:"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

Click Troubleshooter to start the troubleshooter for this device."
If I uninstall and reinstall them they still show the same.
When I try to record a CD i get this message:
"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"
Any idea?

Thanks Woodman.
I edited the registry and everything went very smooth.
Now I can use all the drives.
Finally a good suggestion!

Thanks again
