I was looking for an LCD to replace my current CRT that seems on the verge of going out.

I wanted one that I can use for gaming, as well as movies. (my crt is extra dark for movies for some reasen)

I read the reviews on THG:

I tried looking for the VP930 on newegg.com, but could only find the VP930b.....Is there a diffrence?

The VP930b is 359.99

I found the VX922 for for 329.99 there too, but the review seemed to suggest that it wouldn't play movies well.

Any suggestions would be quite helpfull. Thanks.

One other question....Newegg has this listed for the VP930b:
8ms gray-to-gray (avg); 20ms black-white-black (typ)
I under stand the 8ms. The 20ms on is confusing me though.

b stands for black, as in black case instead of "s" for silver I think. not 100% sure but I am sure it's VP930 on newegg is the VP930 from TH review.

As for VX92x series, I don't recommand it. the color feels washed out and the view angle is non-existance.

btw, there is VP920, about 80 dollars cheaper than 930, half the response time at 4ms. I have yet to find any in depth reviews so not sure how good it is.
