I am a DirecTV subscriber and pay a LARGE sum of money for their programming. What bothers me the most is the number of receivers I have to purchase and then pay a monthly charge for.

Has anyone heard of a way to save a little dough on the receivers? Not looking for a sales call, but rather another way to emulate this setup.

I saw some blogs mentioning a DirecTV receiver on a PC card but I can't find it now.

Centralized media is the way....
