Dead pixel Warranty 4 LCDs

I have what I think might be a simple question for you all.

I’m looking to purchase two LCD monitors, one at 19” and the other at 17”.

One of:
- View Sonic VX922 Black/Silver 19"
- NEC Display Solutions 90GX2 Silver 19"

And One of:

- SAMSUNG 740B Black 17"
- NEC Display Solutions LCD1770GX-BK Black 17"

My issue is that what I have in my area for a computer store really sucks. What they have inside really isn’t much of a selection. Have any of you come across a Computer Mail Order Company that has a guarantee policy, that I can exchange it if the new LCD has dead pixels?

From what I have seen its only the manufacture warranty that is available and they won’t do anything unless its 8 or more! I mean come on for the price of that NEC 90GX it should be better than that?

I don't think you're going to find what you're looking for. Simple reason is that if a store guarantees against any dead pixels, they will be stuck with it as the manufacturer will not give them any credit. I doubt whether any will risk this type of policy as thery would stand to lose too much.
