Dell 2405 gaming at lower widescreen resolution

Can any Dell 2405 owner share their experiences with gaming at lower res?

I have a Geforce 6600GT. I know this won't be enough to play games at the Dell's native res (1920x1200). How does this monitor do at lower res like 1280x800?

Any info would be appreciated.

i find it fine. it has built in scaling abilties i.e aspect ratio fill etc. even a stretched mage iMO looks fine, although having AA and AF on helps. it depends how fussy you are. to some it might look worse when stretched. then again when playing fast paced games like FPS ones i doubt anybody will notice.

one thing though it really does look great in native so where possible try to use it.
