Speed-Link's $28 mid-range headset offers more oomph than you might expect in the category. And when it comes to bass, you won't find any better for the price, whether you want to watch a Star Wars DVD or frag all night with Doom III.
Also, would you guys prefer the Medusa or the Triton for gaming? From what I can tell, the Triton is a good headset for only $40 (only place I could find it for USA), but the Medusa could be better.
question. is this headset like cover your whole ear?? or is it like the plantronics audio .90's or the dsp500's I am looking for a good headset that covers the ear completely, and doesn't rest at all on the ears. thanks

Covers the whole ear.
Traken, personally I prefer the Triton as it's a simple 3.5mm job and is less chunky than the Medusa 5.1
Elated: I logged on tonight to buy the Sennheiser 150 headset, and I just wanted to double check with trusty old TH to make just they were a good set. Well I find out they're pretty mediocre actually... but the Speed-Link Medusa 5.1's are great! So then I decide cool, I want the buy the Medusa set instead... easy right? Wrong!
Disappointed: You're hyping a product that is sparsely available in the U.S.!! What's up with that?!
TH is a U.S. based site and company I thought?
So what do I do now, I want a great headset w/ mic for gaming but I at least want to be able to "shop around for price" as your article suggests I do, but I only found 2 places that sell them here in the U.S.: ebay, and some other weird site I've never heard of (similar to ebay) and they both want the same price of $99.00!
