Planning to replace my current monitor. Decided on the Samusung SyncMaster 713N 17", which is an 8ms response time panel.
What I'd like to seek advice on this panel is, is it good for gaming? Though I will be using my system mainly for programming and 3D modelling, I also use it to play games and watch movies/video. To be more specific, is 8ms good enough for games like Action/FPS, and for viewing movies? I have really picky eyes, through years of training via modelling/graphics editing, so I can't tolerate visual artifacts such as ghosting.
Any comments on this monitor are also welcomed. Thanks.
