If I install 2 VGA cards into my XP Pro system, would I be able to have the
same image (cloned) on each adapter?

Without software, you would have a clone desktop.

Hi,

In short, yes. Suggest you locate a dual head card with supporting software,
this is the easiest way to go.

Are you saying that it requires special software besides Windows
to have two video cards and monitors with the desktop extended
across both monitors?

If so, that's *not* correct.
