Logitech MX1000 Painted

I've got an MX1000 and was thinking about vinyl dyeing the plastic (blue part) white. Anybody had any experience dismantling the mouse? is painting it possible? I haven't heard any stories either way. I want to make sure it will work before i void my warranty.

Have you tried dissasembling/reassembling one of those bad boys before? I made the mistake of trying that one with an MX510 with very bad results. :frown:
