Hi,
My laptop just got stolen a few weeks ago, now school is coming soon and I need to buy a new one. I had a HP, I played games like the Sims 2 and I used it to do school work with Autocad, Revit, Photoshop 10, etc. I paid around 1250 $ for this laptop, considering I transformed it from Vista to XP, adding memory and stuff. Now my question is: since my insurance company is refunding me around 850 bucks to remplace it, which laptop should I buy? I can work with Vista now, will still be  playing the sims 2 and I will still be working with Autocad and everything. Hp? Toshiba? Something else? Thank you for helping me!

Sorry for the delay. Many people told me that these laptops have quite a few heating problems.
