I am not afraid to spend the money on an Alienware laptop with all the whistles but I was also looking at CyberPc which has a little more flexibility with configuring the system and not as expensive. Any reason to stay away from either from a quality standpoint or customer service, like I said the money doesn't scare me.

This laptop will be for when I am travelling and to play Age of Conan. I was looking at the dual 8800M setup.

If you're looking at the M17x (I'm guessing, based on the dual 8800M comment), I would look instead at either the Dell XPS M1730 (cheaper for basically the same config), or the Sager NP9262 (cheaper, uses desktop CPUs, probably a shorter battery life though [if you care about that]).

Take a good look at the Sager NP9262 if you want a mobile gaming platform.
Better machine than the Alienware, and cheaper to boot.
Nvidia has released the 9800MGT for Sager, with the MGTX version coming in August.
Couple of places to check them out, google Xotic PC, Powernotebooks. Both have good customer service and prices.

I second both of the above posts. Alienware is overpriced for no reason.

Another vote for not getting M17x,get either SAGER NP9262 or XPS M1730, the difference is that the NP9262 uses desktop CPUs but M1730 uses Mobile CPUs.
