Hi guys,
I recently upgraded my system (Graphics card, CPU, HD and M/b). The only component I haven't upgrade yet is my memory. I'm currently using 1.0Gb (2 x 512Mb) Corsair XMS 2700DDR. Because my FSB runs at 200Mhz, the memory can only run at 320Mhz. In your opinion do you think its worth getting a faster set of Memories (pc3200 or pc4000) if so which brand? Geil, OCZ, Corsair or Kingston? Or should I stick with my current PC2700?

Thanks

Jim

If you're gonna do moderate to heavy gaming, I'd say go for the upgrade. Otherwise, you have more than enough.

I'm definitely a game fanatic. At the moment spending a lot of time playing UT2004. I play a lot of FPS.

If so, what type of mem shall I get? price is no problem.

If price is not a problem, probly the best ram around would be Corsair LL series, I got some OCZ and before I had some GEil in my P4P800, both are top notch ram...Also Kingston HyperX series is smooth.I suggets you get some PC3500 instead of 3200 will give you a little bit of overclocking headroom, you could get your CPU to 3.2+ if you feel like it.
