Need laptop for school in Canada.

That's all that matters.
I do play some games here and there like World of Warcraft and hoping it will run SC2 or Diablo 3 even if it has to be on the lowest resolution.

This is the first time I've ever looked into purchasing a laptop and I don't know where I should get it from.
I've looked into the Dell/Sony only because of their design and color.
I was hoping to get a laptop for a cheap price maybe with discount codes etc or even purchasing them from Bestbuy or Future Shop if they are at a decent price. I can't throw around $2000 for a laptop and that's why I'm having troubles. I really need help in getting a laptop around the price range of $800 or if better, lower. Thank you for your help.
