hell, even if he doesn't get s samsung it will porbably have one of their panels in it. oh and the 204B is supposed to be quite good.

I don't have a budget limit, but the monitor must be 19".

I'm no longer interested in samsung cause i have read that the company have problems with the XXXBF series (4 ms response time).

with no budget limit why only 19" my 24" is great.

fair enough although mine is hardly if any wider than my keyboard. must be a little cubby hole you have

If budget is not a problem take a look athe Samsung 970P 19" 6ms response, 1000:1 contrast.

Not only does it look gorgeous but performs superbly, you won't be disappointed.

Hope this helps

You should take a look at
Samsung SyncMaster 204B 20.0' 5ms 1600x1200 resolution
and
Samsung SyncMaster 214T 21.3' 8ms 1600x1200 resolution
they will fit in the space of most 19'

Samsung has several lines other than the XXXBF. That's a "super-fast TN panel" for gamers... if you're worried about it, get something else.

Try 940BX... billed as "5ms and 1000:1 CR"

The 970P has a higher quality display (S-PVA panel) and a fancy-schmancy bezel and stand, so it costs more.
