Mobile broadband downloading 4 no reason

Hello,
i have a mh36 that runs vista..i noticed that my 3bb is chewing up the mb's..even with nothing running or uploading its still downloading..any help would be greatly appreciated..ta..Zach

Do you know if Windows is downloading updates or anything like that? Do you have an anti-virus program running? Perhaps it is downloading updates as well.

thanks for reply bewish..nothing was running,updating or uploading..it used over 500mb in 1 day before i twigged..has done it a couple of times now,but im watching that counter like a hawk..am speaking to 3 and they say the same thing as u,but i cant see it or dont no where to look...?????...ta Zach

I would try playing with your firewall settings and getting a copy of hijack this or any other program that will allow you to look more closely at what is actually running. This may be a background program you cannot see from the task manager that is downloading. My thought her would be some type of malware downloader or something like that, but it is hard to say.
