ENG A BRE - PAR Fails (3), dislodged (6)
ENG A PIC S BRE - PAR Succeeds (1)
FRA A GAS - BRE Succeeds (5)
FRA A PAR S GAS - BRE Succeeds (4)
FRA A BUR S PAR Succeeds (2)

The supports from Picardy and Burgandy are successful, since they agree
with the orders of the units they support and no one tries to move to
either province (1, 2). Army Brest is not strong enough to dislodge
Paris and stands off (3). Paris' support succeeds because no unit may
cut support that aids an attack on its own province (4). Therefore,
Gascony's move succeeds (5) and dislodges Army Brest (6).

Of course, Army Brest has no valid retreats and must therefore disband
during the retreat phase.
