Thanks for the advice on the previous situation. Here's another that
I'm wondering about:
RUS A War - Sil
RUS A Gal S A War - Sil
RUS A Ukr - War
RUS A Mos S A Ukr - War
GER A Lvn - War
GER A Pru S A Lvn - War
GER A Sil S A Lvn - War
My guess is that War - Sil succeeds; because it succeeds the support
from Silesia is cut (even though the support is being given into the
space from which it is attacked), so it's a standoff in Warsaw, and
Warsaw remains empty at the end of the turn?

You analysis is correct. Support can be cut by the space for which the
support is given, if the supporting unit is dislodged.
