Laptop or Upgrade?

i have about $450 and i was wondering if i should buy a laptop or upgrade my current desktop
its has a 300w psu, 7600gs 256mb, 2gb pc4200, c2d e6400 2.13ghz, and a 320gb hd all in a small ass ubtx case and 1440*900 monitor


motherboard can handle 800mhz so id probably add 2gb of 800, and upgrade to an 8800gt or 3870, and i would definately have to throw in a 550watt psu maybe even 600?

if i where to get a laptop i would hope to get at least a c2d 2ghz 2gb ram,100gb hd
screen size should be at least 15 and graphics also arent that big of deal, as long as it can play the low graphics demanding games at good quality
you guys think i can find one of those for about 450?
also if i get one w/1gb ram, how hard would it be to upgrade?

i mostly do stuff in photoshop/illustrator/3d max but i also play some games every now and than

is there anything else you need to know?

i wouldnt mind waiting a few months before making a decision

or maybe even a ps3 or 360?
