I have a Asus laptop that has been getting quite a few BSOD death since I got it new. My PC did the same when I first had it built and I reseated the RAM's and no BSOD since. Laptops are fairly new to me and I want to know where I can find a picture and how to instructions on opening one and checking to make sure all my parts are working...perhaps reseat the RAM's. Thanks.
Most laptops have easy access to their so-dimm modules. There's likely to be a small removable plate at the bottom of the machine that will reveal them. laptop ram does not seat the same way as it's desktop counterpart, so I recommend you look at pictures and instructions first. Have you looked at your BSOD's stop code and error message? Does windows show a "Your system has recovered from a serious error" message when you boot it back up after one?
