Hello,

I currently have 19" DELL 1905FP

It's one of the best monitors, but it has 2 big problems:

1. The brightness is too high for me
2. The responce rate is slow

I need a monitor with lower brightness( antiglare coating ? )
and the responce rate suitable for latest games ( 8ms ? )
Also the price should be reasonable.

I would really appreciate if you could recommend what monitor I should go for.

Thank you very much.

I too have Dell 1905s and find them too bright. Plus, the adjustment for brightness and contrast is minimal. I use mine for market charts with a black background... for this they are fine.

For general computing and my primary monitor, I have a Samsung.

Take a look at the NEC 1940CX-BK.
This has an antiglare coating with an 8ms response time and a brightness of 279cd/m2 which is fully adjustable.
