GREAT!

After some problems with my 9600 pro aka 9600 series,
now i seem to have some preoblems with my hard drive.
I have a 120 gb 7200 rpm seagate baracuda (which shows up as
111.79 gb in xp's disk management)
A friend had come to my place to set the system up (.hacker.)
he formatted only 20 gigs just to get started and installed xp
From xp's disk manager i saw that the free space which showed up
was 95.25 gigs , so i created a logical drive from there [using the wizard]
and formatted it . The drive was 19.5 gigs [ NTFS ] , when i checked the
properties of this drive , the used space showed upto be 65 mb,
even when the drive had no files on it.Does this space account for some
system files ? or is something wrong with the drive
any way i deleted the drive.

heres the break up of the Current drives

C: [primary] [FAT 32 file system] 9.75 gb which shows up well
D: [ ntfs File system] 9.76 gb out of which , i have used up 6.75 gb and
in explorer used space shows up as 6.81 gb ie a 90 mb difference.

Another odd thing is that when i add up 9.75 + 9.76 + 95.25 , i get 114.76 ,
which exceeds the capacity mentioned [:D]

As of now no motherboard/cd-rom/sound card problems .....yet,
[Floppy drive problem was solved [:D] ]

Right click 'My Computer' and select 'Manage'. Go to Disk Management in the Computer Management console. Find your hard disk in the bottom right hand window - should be Disk0, Basic, 95GB and Online. Next to that it should show 1 partition of 20GB as C: What's in the rest? If there is a partition, D:, of 19.5GB there that you don't want, right click on it and select 'Delete Parition'. Then right click in the empty space and select 'Create Partition'. It should automatically try to use the all the free space.
