Hello, I'm new to this forum just signed on today!

So sorry for newbie behaviour, in advance. I was wondering whether 'Kingston ValueRAM 1GB DIMM 184-PIN - DDR 333mhz (PC2700)' is compatible with my NEC i-Select M5210?

I'm totally new to purchasing hardware for my computer, and was wondering if anyone knew whether this RAM is compatible with my laptop or whether they could kindly point me to some websites that might be to give me a better understanding of what RAM needs to go into which laptops.

And thanks in advance! :-)

The crucial site has the memory that you need for about $10 less. If you don't want to buy from them, then you should look for DDR-333 200-PIN RAM.

Thanks for the reply! :-)

I take it only RAM that is 200 pin is compatible, and the kingston RAM is unsuitable. And thanks for the web links!

Yeah, you're looking for DDR333/PC2700 SODIMM (make sure it's SODIMM, DIMM is for desktops) which is 200 pin.
